About me
Melody Resendez is the Extensive Support Needs (ESN) Department Chair at Portola High School, currently in her eighth year. With a total of 17 years in special education, she previously taught for six years in Garden Grove USD and spent three years as a Special Education Program Supervisor. Melody holds a B.S. in Child and Adolescent Studies and an M.S. in Educational Leadership from Cal State Fullerton, along with her Moderate/Severe Teaching and Administrative Services Credentials. She has served as a Secondary ESN SPED and Induction mentor for 4 years.
